All Extrem Skis are developed and handmade with pride in our own high-tech factory in Åre, Sweden, and have been so since 1981.
All Extrem Skis are produced using 100 percent local renewable hydropower energy from Jämtland, Sweden.
The birch wood cores are locally grown in northern Sweden and the medium-high density cores absorbs vibrations in a superb way.
The low density poplar wood makes a ski very playful. Combining poplar with titanal creates a stable and torsionally rigid ski with low weight.
The wood core combination of light-weight poplar and high-density beech wood makes a very ski playful, yet stable on hard packed snow.
We use extra thick steel edges since we want our skis to be as strong as possible if you hit a rock plus that you can grind them over and over again.
To minimize wood core vibrations we place a race rubber dampening stringer all along the full length of the wood core.
