Second Opinion 108

6999 SEK

Based on the geometry of the multiple award winning Second Opinion 118, but with a waist of 108 mm and a little shorter radius. This width in the Opinion series is made for the skier who wants a versatile and playful freeride ski to use every day over the mountain, regardless of snow conditions. The construction and rocker profile of the Opinion range is optimized for soft snow but can also be skied with plenty of pressure on the slopes.

Second Opinion 108 is a very light glass fibre ski (1860 g at 186 cm), made out of snappy poplar wood and light paulownia wood. The harmonious tapered tip and tail, combined with the long low-rise rocker profile, creates fantastic floatation in powder and makes them easy to manoeuvre in all conditions.

Second Opinion 108 is your choice if you are looking for a playful and versatile freeride ski for all snow conditions, while Second Opinion 118 is an alternative if your focus is the deepest powder days. If you are looking for a more powerful freeride model with a lot of performance, Fusion 105 Reload would be a good choice.

  • The Pivot technology from Look is an unique binding construction with a turnable heel part that rotates directly under the heel of the foot. This solution reduces the risk of injury and provides extra shock absorbtion that minimize the risk of pre-release. Another thing that stands out with the Pivot bindings is the low mounting point, which makes the skier come closer to the ski (and snow).

    DIN: 5-14

    Weight: 2230 g/pair

Recommended price 3,000 SEK. Offered price only in package with skis.

  • The Shift binding has got an unique combination of a tech and an alpine binding. The construction makes it possible to use it as a traditional alpine binding, but can easily be transformed into a touring binding with tech inserts. Simply the best of two worlds.

The Shift bindings from Salomon/Atomic/Armada are identical (the same owner of all brands). We chose the Armada Shift due to its cool black design.

    DIN: 6-13

    Weight: 1700 g/pair

Recommended price 5,500 SEK. Offered price only in package with skis.

  • The innovative Marker Kingpin redefines the performance standard in PinTech binding technology. Kingpin has a unique design that consists of and new toe piece with extra elasticity combined with a enclosing heel part. This provides an unbeatable power transmission to the skis, which previously has been missed out on light-weight touring bindings.

    DIN: 6-13

    Weight: 1500 g/pair

Recommended price 4,500 SEK. Offered price only in package with skis.

  • A really powerful alpine binding from Marker for freeskiers who put a lot of pressure on the skis. Only for heavy riders that wants a secure binding offering maximum performance. For normal skiers we recommend Marker Griffon.

    DIN: 6-16

    Weight: 2110 g/pair

Recommended price 2,600 SEK. Offered price only in package with skis.

  • The Marker alpine binding that fits most skiers, whether you ski all day on the slopes or on ski off-piste on wider skis. Probably one of the most sold premium alpine bindings on the market.

    DIN: 4-13

    Weight: 2040 g/pair

Recommended price 1,800 SEK. Offered price only in package with skis.

  • As the lighter, more nimble cousin to the Duke EPF 16, the Marker Baron has become a favorite amongst big mountain and backcountry enthusiasts. The Baron EPF features the Extended Power Frame (EPF) – a wider hole pattern and thicker frame – that makes it very rigid and provides better transmission of power, especially on wider skis. Baron EPF 13 is ideal for freeskiers that wants to explore the backcountry.

    DIN: 4-13

    Weight: 2780 g/pair

Recommended price 3,000 SEK. Offered price only in package with skis.
