  • A completely new freeride ski with the same modern geometry as the award-winning all-mountain model Fusion 95, but with a waist of 105 mm and slightly longer radius.

Fusion bridges the gap between the more performance-oriented Project range and the very playful Opinion range. With this perfect balance between stability and playfulness, Fusion 105 is the most versatile freeride model in our entire ski range. Simply the perfect freeride ski for those who ride all over the mountain and in all different snow conditions.

The skis are made out of snappy poplar wood and stable beech wood, in combination with a stringer of race rubber dampening to minimize vibrations. The tapered tip and tail, combined with the progressive freeride rocker profile in tip and tail, creates fantastic floatation in soft snow but also gives you a great edge grip in hard-packed conditions.

If you are looking for a narrower ski with similar riding qualities, Fusion 95 is a great alternative. If you are looking for an even more playful freeride ski, we can recommend Second Opinion 108, while Fusion 105 Reload is the right choice if you want a freeride ski loaded with extra performance and superb edge grip.

  • Fusion 105 Carbon is based on the same modern geometry as the versatile freeride model Fusion 105, but with a lightweight and very advanced carbon fibre construction.

We have chosen to maximize the performance in terms of edge grip and dampening in relation to weight, instead of focusing solely on minimizing weight and thereby reducing performance. The result is a playful and freeride-oriented touring ski that handle all types of demanding snow conditions. Fusion Carbon is built for the skier who wants a light-weight carbon fibre ski with fantastic ski characteristics that also works as a normal freeride ski in a ski resort.

Fusion Carbon is the flagship construction in our range with two layers of pre-preg carbon fiber and pre-preg glass fiber. In order to further decrease the weight, and increase performance, a wood core consisting of snappy poplar and very light paulownia is used together with the ultra-light aerospace material Tubecomb in tip and tail. In 179 cm length the weight is 1600 g per ski.

Fusion 105 Carbon is a more stable and freeride-oriented touring ski, while Fusion 95 Carbon has all-mountain characteristics and is more playful and quicker from edge to edge.

  • Fusion 105 Reload share the same moulds as Fusion 105 but is designed for skiers who are looking for a freeride ski with more performance in demanding snow conditions.

By adding extra race rubber dampening, as well as two layers of 70 mm wide titanal stringers, the skis get a more powerful character. We call this construction Reload. The modern geometry, combined with the moderate titanal reinforcement, makes the Reload version easy to ski in relation to its performance. This is the perfect model for those who are looking for dampened freeride skis with great edge grip to ski fast in everything from hard slopes to soft powder.

In addition to the race rubber dampening and two layers of titanal stringers, the Fusion 105 Reload is made out of snappy poplar wood and stable beech wood. The tapered tip and tail, combined with the progressive freeride rocker profile in the tip and tail, creates great floatation in soft snow but also a great edge grip in hard-packed conditions.

If you are looking for a more versatile and playful freeride ski, Fusion 105 could be a good alternative. If the priority is performance and edge grip, but you are looking more into the all-mountain segment, Project 100 could be an alternative.

The skis are made out of snappy poplar wood and stable beech wood, in combination with race rubber dampening membranes to minimize vibrations. • Together with the young and stoked skiers from Åre, we have developed our first model for youths. The skiers have tested and evaluated prototypes in all different kind of snow conditions with the goal to develop an all-mountain ski that combines performance with playfulness. The reason for this extensive project is that we believe that the next generation deserve as well-developed skis as offered to their parents. The ski, and the unique development process behind it, has been awarded the international and prestigious ISPO Award 2020/21.

The request from the youths was a ski that could carve the slopes with ease, smooth in powder and spring snow, playful skiing the trees and jumping off kickers. The result is Roots 90 – an allmountain ski where one of the key factors is a soft flex that allows young skiers to develop their skills all over the mountain.

The skis are produced at Åre Skidfabrik with same high-quality materials as all other Extrem Skis, which makes Roots 90 the world’s most advanced ski for youths.

Since the skis are soft and flexible, we recommend the same length of skis as the rider’s body length. If the rider is more advanced than average, or weighs more than average, you can choose a little longer ski than body length. If the rider is less advanced than average, or weighs less than average, you can choose a slightly shorter ski than body length.
