  • A wide piste ski within the Frontside segment, developed for skiers who want playful piste skis for the entire season with fantastic performance. The skis are characterized by a superb edge grip and are optimized for all type of piste conditions, whether it is icy pre-season or spring snow slopes.

Our piste skis are a little bit wider because a slope is rarely smooth and hard from morning to evening. This width creates floatation and makes them very easy to manoeuvre in soft snow, yet the edge grip is incredible on hardpack. The construction is very similar to race skis with double layers of titanal and race rubber-dampening membranes, but the geometry is made for everyday piste skiing. This allows you to choose whether you want to dig trenches in full speed, or if you want to slow down and cruise down the steeper parts.

Frontier 80 is perfect if you want shorter radius and a ski that is very quick from edge to edge. If you prefer longer radius and want to ski with more speed, we would recommend the Frontier 85.

  • A completely new ski based on the same modern geometry as the award-winning all-mountain model Fusion 95, but with a light-weight and very advanced carbon fibre construction.

We have chosen to maximize the performance in terms of edge grip and dampening in relation to weight, instead of focusing solely on minimizing weight and thereby reducing performance. The result is a playful and freeride-oriented touring ski that handle all types of demanding snow conditions. Fusion Carbon is built for the skier who wants a light-weight carbon fibre ski with fantastic ski characteristics that also works as a normal freeride ski in a ski resort.

Fusion Carbon is the flagship construction in our range with two layers of pre-preg carbon fiber and pre-preg glass fiber. In order to further decrease the weight, and increase performance, a wood core consisting of snappy poplar and very light paulownia is used together with the ultra-light aerospace material Tubecomb in tip and tail. In 179 cm length the weight is 1610 g per ski.

Fusion 105 Carbon is a more stable and freeride-oriented touring ski, while Fusion 95 Carbon has all- mountain characteristics and is more playful and quicker from edge to edge.

  • A completely new freeride ski based on the same modern geometry as the award-winning all-mountain model Fusion 95, but with a waist of 105 mm and longer radius. Fusion 105 Reload is made for skiers who want a powerful and dampened freeride ski to ski fast in all conditions whether that is wind packed, spring snow or powder.

The skis are made out of snappy poplar wood and stable beech wood, race rubber dampening membranes to minimize vibrations and two layers of titanal stringers for torsional stiffness and stability. The tapered tip and tail, combined with the progressive freeride rocker profile in tip and tail, creates fantastic floatation in soft snow but also gives you a great edge grip on the slopes.

Fusion 105 Reload is a freeride model where we have combined a modern geometry with powerful performance. If you are looking for a lighter and more playful freeride ski, Second Opinion 108 is an option. Both Fusion 95 and Project 100 could be an option if you are looking for more all- mountain characteristics.

  • Test Winner in the Swedish ski magazine Åka Skidor with the judgement: “All ski characteristics for an entire day in the mountain has been melted together. All your skiing will be filled by happiness”.

Fusion bridges the gap between the more performance-oriented Project range and the very playful Opinion range. With this perfect balance between stability and playfulness, Fusion 95 is a modern all-mountain ski to use every day over the entire mountain. Arc GS turns in groomers or bring it out on the best powder day of the season – the key word for Fusion 95 is versatility.

The skis are made out of snappy poplar wood and stable beech wood, in combination with race rubber dampening membranes to minimize vibrations. The tapered tip and tail, combined with the progressive freeride rocker profile in tip and tail, creates fantastic floatation in soft snow but also gives you a great edge grip in hard-packed conditions.

Fusion 95 is your choice if you are looking for a playful yet dampened all-mountain ski that carves the slopes and floats in powder. If you are looking for more performance-oriented all-mountain skis with even more edge grip, the Project 90/100 would be an option.

  • Mothertree is the world’s first community-developed freeride ski for females and have been developed together with the female ski network InspireUs. The ski, and the unique development process behind it, was awarded the international and prestigious ISPO Award 2016/17.

The skis are made for females who are looking for a playful and versatile freeride model to ski all over the mountain and in all kind of different snow conditions. Mothertree 105 can be skied with plenty of pressure in the slopes, but like all wide skis it performs best in offpiste conditions. Since it is a low-weight ski, Mothertree 105 can be used with either an alpine binding or a ski touring binding.

Mothertree 105 is a very light glass fibre ski (1700 g at 172 cm), made out of snappy poplar wood and light paulownia wood. The tapered tip and tail, combined with the progressive freeride rocker profile in the tip and tail, creates great floatation in soft snow but also a great edge grip in hard-packed conditions.

If you are looking for these characteristics in an all-mountain ski with shorter radius, Mothertree 95 could be a good alternative. If you want a more powerful and performance-oriented all-mountain ski, the Project 100 Woman is the right choice.

  • All-mountain Test Winner 2016/17 in the Swedish ski magazine Åka Skidor with rewards like “This feels premium! They are stable, confident, inviting and my personal favorites.”

This acclaimed and award-winning model is developed to conquer the demanding and often very mixed snow conditions of our home mountain in Åre. A winter for us means everything from hard slopes and wind-packed off-piste to those magic spring snow days in April. By switching to a 5 % lighter wood core for the 2019/20 season, the skis have become even more playful without compromising performance. Project 100 is the perfect choice if you want a freeride-oriented all-mountain ski with fantastic performance and amazing edge grip, yet playful in its character.

The skis have an elliptical rocker profile with very good all-round characteristics. On hard-packed snow you will have a long and effective edge grip, but the rocker also adds floatation in soft snow. The skis are built with race rubber dampening membranes to minimize vibrations and two layers of titanal for maximal torsional stiffness and stability.

If you are looking for a more playful all-mountain ski with shorter radius that are very quick from edge to edge the Project 90 could be a good alternative.

  • The women’s equivalent of Project 100, all-mountain Test Winner 2016/17 in the Swedish ski magazine Åka Skidor with rewards like “This feels premium! They are stable, confident, inviting and my personal favorites.”

The Project series is developed to conquer the demanding and often very mixed snow conditions of our home mountain in Åre. A winter for us means everything from hard slopes and wind-packed off-piste to those magic spring snow days in April. By reducing the width of the two layers of titanal for the 2019/20 season, the skis have become both 5 % lighter and even more playful. Project 100 Woman is the perfect choice if you want a freeride-oriented all-mountain ski with fantastic performance and amazing edge grip, yet playful in its character.

The skis have an elliptical rocker profile with very good all-round characteristics. On hard-packed snow you will have a long and effective edge grip, but the rocker also adds floatation in soft snow. The skis are built with race rubber dampening membranes to minimize vibrations and two layers of titanal for torsional stiffness and stability. In Project 100 Woman we use titanal stringers, which gives a lighter and more playful ski, while the unisex model Project 100 has full width titanal.

If you are looking for a more playful all-mountain ski with shorter radius that are very quick from edge to edge the Project 90 Woman could be a good alternative.

  • Together with the young and stoked skiers from Åre, we have developed our first model for youths. The skiers have tested and evaluated prototypes in all different kind of snow conditions with the goal to develop an all-mountain ski that combines performance with playfulness. The graphics on the skis have been worked out in a collaboration between the youths and our ski designer Örjan Vatnaland. The reason for this extensive project is that we believe that the next generation deserve as well-developed skis as offered to their parents.

The request from the youths was a ski that could carve the slopes with ease, smooth in powder and spring snow, playful skiing the trees and jumping off kickers. The result is Roots 90 – an all-mountain ski where one of the key factors is a soft flex that allows young skiers to develop their skills all over the mountain.

The skis are produced at Åre Skidfabrik with same high-quality materials as all other Extrem Skis, which makes Roots 90 the world’s most advanced ski for youths.

Since the skis are soft and flexible, we recommend the same length of skis as the rider’s body length. If the rider is more advanced than average, or weighs more than average, you can choose a little longer ski than body length. If the rider is less advanced than average, or weighs less than average, you can choose a slightly shorter ski than body length.

  • Based on the geometry of the multiple award winning Second Opinion 118, but with a waist of 108 mm and a little shorter radius. This width in the Opinion series is made for the skier who wants a versatile and playful freeride ski to use every day over the mountain, regardless of snow conditions. The construction and rocker profile of the Opinion range is optimized for soft snow but can also be skied with plenty of pressure on the slopes.

Second Opinion 108 is a very light glass fibre ski (1860 g at 186 cm), made out of snappy poplar wood and light paulownia wood. The harmonious tapered tip and tail, combined with the long low-rise rocker profile, creates fantastic floatation in powder and makes them easy to manoeuvre in all conditions.

Second Opinion 108 is your choice if you are looking for a playful and versatile freeride ski for all snow conditions, while Second Opinion 118 is an alternative if your focus is the deepest powder days. If you are looking for a more powerful freeride model with a lot of performance, Fusion 105 Reload would be a good choice.

  • Big-mountain Test Winner 2017/18 in the Swedish ski magazine Åka Skidor with rewards like “One of the better skis for drifting and it holds as good in higher speeds.”

Opinion 118 is also the world’s first community-developed ski, created with the help of hundreds of dedicated skiers in forum thread with 1.900 member posts, over 1.000.000 visits and one year of development. For this, the model was awarded the international and prestigious ISPO Gold Award 2014/15.

The model was renamed to Second Opinion after a further development of the construction that made the ski 15 % lighter ski and gave it more playful characteristics. The ski is very all-round for being such a wide ski, but prefers powder, tracked powder or spring snow. A ski for your Japan trip or for the best days of the winter.

Second Opinion 118 is an ultra-light glass fibre ski (1990 g at 187 cm), made out of snappy poplar wood and light paulownia wood. In the tip and tail we use the ultra-light aerospace material Tubecomb for lowest possible swing weight. The harmonious tapered tip and tail, combined with the long low-rise rocker profile, creates fantastic floatation in powder and makes them easy to manoeuvre in all conditions.

Second Opinion 118 is perfect if you are looking for a wide freeride ski or a powder ski. If you want more all-round freeride characteristics, Second Opinion 108 could be an option.
