  • A wide piste ski within the Frontside segment, developed for skiers who want playful piste skis for the entire season with fantastic performance. The skis are characterized by a superb edge grip and are optimized for all type of piste conditions, whether it is icy pre-season or spring snow slopes.

Our piste skis are a little bit wider because a slope is rarely smooth and hard from morning to evening. This width creates floatation and makes them very easy to manoeuvre in soft snow, yet the edge grip is incredible on hardpack. The construction is very similar to race skis with double layers of titanal and race rubber-dampening membranes, but the geometry is made for everyday piste skiing. This allows you to choose whether you want to dig trenches in full speed, or if you want to slow down and cruise down the steeper parts.

Frontier 80 is perfect if you want shorter radius and a ski that is very quick from edge to edge. If you prefer longer radius and want to ski with more speed, we would recommend the Frontier 85.

  • A completely new ski based on the same modern geometry as the award-winning all-mountain model Fusion 95, but with a light-weight and very advanced carbon fibre construction.

We have chosen to maximize the performance in terms of edge grip and dampening in relation to weight, instead of focusing solely on minimizing weight and thereby reducing performance. The result is a playful and freeride-oriented touring ski that handle all types of demanding snow conditions. Fusion Carbon is built for the skier who wants a light-weight carbon fibre ski with fantastic ski characteristics that also works as a normal freeride ski in a ski resort.

Fusion Carbon is the flagship construction in our range with two layers of pre-preg carbon fiber and pre-preg glass fiber. In order to further decrease the weight, and increase performance, a wood core consisting of snappy poplar and very light paulownia is used together with the ultra-light aerospace material Tubecomb in tip and tail. In 179 cm length the weight is 1610 g per ski.

Fusion 105 Carbon is a more stable and freeride-oriented touring ski, while Fusion 95 Carbon has all- mountain characteristics and is more playful and quicker from edge to edge.

  • A completely new freeride ski based on the same modern geometry as the award-winning all-mountain model Fusion 95, but with a waist of 105 mm and longer radius. Fusion 105 Reload is made for skiers who want a powerful and dampened freeride ski to ski fast in all conditions whether that is wind packed, spring snow or powder.

The skis are made out of snappy poplar wood and stable beech wood, race rubber dampening membranes to minimize vibrations and two layers of titanal stringers for torsional stiffness and stability. The tapered tip and tail, combined with the progressive freeride rocker profile in tip and tail, creates fantastic floatation in soft snow but also gives you a great edge grip on the slopes.

Fusion 105 Reload is a freeride model where we have combined a modern geometry with powerful performance. If you are looking for a lighter and more playful freeride ski, Second Opinion 108 is an option. Both Fusion 95 and Project 100 could be an option if you are looking for more all- mountain characteristics.

  • Test Winner in the Swedish ski magazine Åka Skidor with the judgement: “All ski characteristics for an entire day in the mountain has been melted together. All your skiing will be filled by happiness”.

Fusion bridges the gap between the more performance-oriented Project range and the very playful Opinion range. With this perfect balance between stability and playfulness, Fusion 95 is a modern all-mountain ski to use every day over the entire mountain. Arc GS turns in groomers or bring it out on the best powder day of the season – the key word for Fusion 95 is versatility.

Fusion 95 is your choice if you are looking for a playful yet dampened all-mountain ski that carves the slopes and floats in powder. If you are looking for more performance-oriented all-mountain skis with even more edge grip, the Project 90/100 would be an option.

  • A new and innovative touring skin from Kohla Tirol with an ultra-thin waterproof membrane between the adhesion layer and the climbing layer. The result is less water absorbency on warmer ski touring days, which results in both better adhesion and lighter weight.

Besides the innovative waterproof membrane, the Alpinist skin also have the newly developed Smart Hot-Melt adhesion. This is less sticky than the normal Kohla Hot-Melt adhesion, but stickier than the Vacuum Base 2.0 technology. In other words the perfect combination reliability and user-friendliness.

This is a skin for the ski mountaineering expert who needs a reliable skin to put on and off several times during a ski day, but also appreciates the user-friendliness of the Smart Hot-Melt adhesion.

100 % Mohair. Very reliable ski tip fixation and adjustable tail fixation. Delivered with storage bag and cutting knife.

    Width: 130 mm

  • The combination of pure natural mohair and an exclusive cotton layer makes the Evolution series unique. The skins have a special fluorine coat finish for increasing gliding properties and grip quality, as well as to reduce moisture absorption. Compared to a mix mohair skin, this skin has better gliding properties but is also less durable.

This is the skin for ambitious ski-mountaineers with focus on gliding properties.

100 % Mohair. Very reliable ski tip fixation and adjustable tail fixation. Delivered with storage bag and cutting knife.

    Width: 135 mm

  • A durable work tool developed for everyday use in the mountains. The Mixmohair range is focused on the optimal combination between excellent grip and gliding properties. Compared to a pure mohair skin, this skin is more durable but does not have the same gliding properties.

This is the skin for ski mountaineers that are looking for a durable skin for all snow conditions.

Mixmohair (65% mohair / 35% nylon). Very reliable ski tip fixation and adjustable tail fixation. Delivered with storage bag and cutting knife.

    Width: 135 mm

  • The most user-friendly touring skin ever made! After several years of testing and permanent advancements KOHLA Tirol has developed a revolutionary skin technology called Vacuum Base. The skin has received ISPO Award Winner 2013, one of the world’s most prestigious awards in the sports industry, as well as becoming the test winner in German SkitourMagazin.de.

The Vacuum Base technology is a glue-free adherent layer that sticks perfectly to the ski base without using UV-radiation sensitive silicon. The skin is very user-friendly both on and off the mountain. In the mountains the skins are super easy to separate compared to normal glue skins and no protection net between surfaces is needed. When coming home from the mountains the skins can be cleaned with normal soap and water if dirty.

This is the skin for the ski tourer who appreciates a user-friendly skin on and off the mountain, but also takes care of the gear after a ski day.

Mixmohair (65% mohair/35% nylon). Very reliable ski tip fixation and adjustable tail fixation. Delivered with microfleece bag and cutting knife.

    Width: 135 mm

    Weight: 220 g at 170 cm length.

  • The Kohla Vacuum Base skin can be cleaned with normal soap and water.

However, this special soap mixture is optimized for the Vacuum Base technology in order to clean and activate your Vacuum skins.

  • The Pivot technology from Look is an unique binding construction with a turnable heel part that rotates directly under the heel of the foot. This solution reduces the risk of injury and provides extra shock absorbtion that minimize the risk of pre-release. Another thing that stands out with the Pivot bindings is the low mounting point, which makes the skier come closer to the ski (and snow).

    DIN: 5-14

    Weight: 2230 g/pair

Recommended price 3,000 SEK. Offered price only in package with skis.
