Conditions of payment
Åre Skidfabrik AB (Åre Ski Factory Ltd), the owner of the brand Extrem, offers payment with VISA and MasterCard.
The prices include Swedish VAT, currently 25%. For deliveries outside the EU we remove this VAT from the price when choosing buyer’s country of destination in the Checkout process. When import into the buyer’s country, the buyer must pay the country’s tax on the product, as well as any customs duty.
The personal information that you fill in is only used to ensure the delivery of orders, as well as for communication between us and you, such as news letters. Åre Skidfabrik ensures that the information in the customer record will not be disclosed to third parties. A customer has the right at any time to be erased from Åre Skidfabrik records.
Åre Skidafabrik primarily uses UPS as logistics partner. For specific requirements regarding deliveries always contact us in advance, and we will give you information on how we can solve the delivery. Delivery time in Sweden is between 3-5 working days to your door. UPS deliveres at your home between 09.00 and 19.00 and makes three (3) delivery attempts. If you wish to book a delivery time or change of delivery address, call UPS at +46 77-662 20 77. You can follow your parcel on UPS website with the help of the tracking number. Since UPS do not use their own carriers/drivers in northern Sweden, it might take 2-3 days before the parcel can be tracked. Should a product be temporarily out of stock, you will expect a slightly longer delivery time. If that is the case, we will contact you per email or telephone, so be sure to provide the right information at checkout.
Åre Skidfabrik is responsible for parcels delivered to their customers. If you wish to return a package, you as as a customer is responsible for the parcel and its content. Returns must be sent by parcel post, never by recommended parcel.
Åre Skidfabrik offers free shipping for orders above 6500 SEK including VAT. Exceptions from this are 1) items on sale, and 2) shipping to countries with very high transportations costs. For orders below 6500 SEK including VAT a shipping fee will be added. For parcels not being picked up, a cost of 300 SEK will be charged for covering the return shipping and handling cost.
We reserve the right for any price changes on our products without notice, as well as being out of stock for our products. Colour variations on our products might occur due to color reproduction on different monitors. We reserve the right for any errors in writing on the website.

Right of withdrawal
We follow the Swedish Konsumentverkets (Consumer Agency) rules and guidelines for e-commerce. If you as a customer would not be satisfied with your product, you have 14 days to return the product, as long as it is unused. Have you chosen to mount bindings on your skis and/or made your own design (Custom Made), the product is considered to be used and not valid for withdrawal. The customer is responsible for return shipping. For replacements, we cover the shipping back to you. Do you have questions about your product or your purchase, please call or email us and we will help you.
If you wish to return your product, we would appreciate if you as soon as possible would contact us by calling or sending an email. After having contacted us, please return the product in the parcel that you received it in, or with equivalent packaging that provides complete protection to the product. Attach the receipt/invoice that you received when you purchased the product. Repayment is done promptly, no later than 30 days after the Åre Skifabrik has received the goods and found that it is in unused condition.
Complaints must be made within reasonable time if the product has an original fault that is not caused by normal wear and tear. If you wish to make a complaint, we would appreciate that you as soon as possible let us know by emailing name, address and order number to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then contact you and see if we can solve the complaint by sending photos or equivalent. If we have to look at the product, we will send you a return shipping form for you to cost free send us the product.
Return the product in the parcel that you received it in, or the equivalent packaging that provides complete protection to the product. Attach the receipt/invoice that you received when you purchased the product. If we approve the claim, one of the following outcomes are possible: (a) if possible the product will be repaired, (b) the product will be replaced with a new, identical or equivalent product, (c) you will get your money back. Repayment is done promptly, no later than 30 days after the Åre Skidfabrik has received the product. Information on regarding the Swedish Konsumentköplagen and Distansavtalslagen (Consumer Sales Law and Distance Contracts Law) can be found on Konsumentverkets (Consumer Agency) website. If any dispute occurs, Åre Skidfabrik will follow Allmänna Reklamationsnämndens (Complaints Board) recommendations.
